July 11 little things make a HUGE differenceim not a huge fan of soccer game , as everyone seemed to be talking about it over the past few weeks , i guess i just didnt wanna feel left out it and i watched some of them , England and France have always been my personal favos , the reason i like them is just cos there are two guys on each team , one is Beckham and the other is Zidane ...
i watched the World Cup finals game , France and Italy played an amazing and hard fought game in which Italy won , to be honest , i was more shocked than sad when Italy won the game in that penalty kicks ,,,it was such a shame ,,, i mean the outcome of that game might have been very different if Zidane hadnt headbutted that italian guy , why would he do that ? i figured it must have shocked the hell out of tons of people out there , throughout that whole game , obviously France had the upper hand until that instant , Zidane took out his anger on that guy and ended up being thrown outta the game , in that moment , i realized France was gonna lose the game ... and they did ,,,
if only Zidane had had A LITTLE BIT MORE control over his anger ! in an instant , he made a decision that made a huge difference for his team , they could have won the game , i know it !!!
like i said , i dont know too much about soccer , but there was one success insight to be found in the game , which is little things make a huge difference , whether we are talking about games or business , or study or even our life , little things MATTER ! Zidane must have made tons of decisions in his soccer life but the last one he made in that game must have had a huge negative impact on his team , the most direct result is they lost the game , and it might have hurt his reputation and people might talk about it for ages ! watever ,,,its not gonna change the fact that l like this guy :) still my favo !
little things matter ?! yes , they do , they might seem inconsequential when we do these things , but they do make difference , after that game, i couldnt help but think how things could be different if we work a little bit more on thinking before we act on them and understanding the consequences on our actions .
there is one sentence i always share with those who are learning english , a little bit more can make a huge difference , most of them are too busy to spend like 2-3 hrs working on english every day , and i personally think it is unnecessary , and i always suggest they take advantage of SPARE TIME , here and there , get up 5 mins earlier or go to sleep 5 mins later than usual , bring a couple of sentences with them in the bathroom , read a little bit on the commute or over the lunchbreak , all these little things can DEFINITELY make a HUGE difference !
how their english would be different if they did ???
iv been asked how to improve english for like a million times ? the first thing that pops into my head is "put ur mind to it" ,,,learn it with ur heart like the soccer propaganda says , play it with ur heart !!!
when it comes to learning english , people tend to be focused on HOW-TO , mothodology , the books and the teachers , let me tell u something , learning english would be a whole lot easier if most of us were more focused on working on themselves , what do i mean ? one thing we gotta know is we are going nowhere if our minds and hearts wont allow to go there , all these outside help WONT help ! its not what u have outside , its what you have inside that COUNTS!
it all comes down to our mindset !
little things make a huge difference , couple of mins here and there spent on ur english or whatever you wanna achieve would make a huge difference , a little bit more diligence , a little bit more determination , a little bit more perseverance can go a long way !
just do it like nike says !
